Thursday rolls around and yet again we have another 2 free games coming from the Epic Games Store. Epic Games Store is a bit hit and miss at times, we’ve had bangers such as Kingdom Come Deliverence, and back in December we got Hogwarts Legacy for free. and sometimes they’re not so great, but this weeks seem okay.
We have Nobody Wants To Die from Critical Hit Games. Set in a Dystopian New York in 2329, Detective James Karra takes on a case to persue a serial killer targeting the city’s elite.
A noir narrative adventure that grants powers of time manipulation, allowing you to reconstruct events leading up to each incident uncovering clues to discover the truth.

Next up we have The Dark Side Detective: A Fumble In The Dark. Another detective game, this time dealing with a city that seems cursed with bad luck. Play as Detective Francis Mcqueen as he saves his absent minded sidekick Officer Dooley, in a point and click narrative adventure, as you navigate puzzles and an amateur wrestling cirtcuit.
Dont let the graphics put you off. Rated 4.9/5 on Epic Games and low system requirements – it seems storytelling is just as accomplishable in pixelated art games, and this one looks like a winner!
