Reports are showing Sony may be slowing down and even cancelling porting Playstation exclusives to PC. In recent years Playstation exclusivity has been loosened somewhat, with Sony porting some PS5 exclusives to PC some time after initial console release. We assume this is to help boost sales of games, after keeping console sales going with the exclusives on day one.
The likes of God Of War: Ragnarok, Spiderman 2 and The Last Of Us Part 2 originally started as Playstation exclusives, helping Playstation to dominate Xbox console sales in recent years.

This shift presumably comes down to lack of Playstation Exclusive sales on PC, but will also help to ensure Playstation keeps that edge, and with the recent announcement of Project Helix from Microsoft, Sony may need to pull out all of the stops to stay ahead.
So far we’ve seen reports that Ghost Of Yotei has been scrapped, and Saros planned PC port has been cancelled, which means now if people really want to play these games, you’re going to have to fork out for a PS5. there won’t be an option to wait for the PC port, and Saros being cancelled is really going to hurt the fans that were keen to check out the come-back-stronger mechanics they showcased at State Of Play.
In other news, Microsoft may be pushing the Xbox capabilities further enabling PC games to be played on Project Helix – could this be the start of the next console war?
