Super Battle Golf has been a phenominal success with over a million sales announced by Brimstone on the Steam page. Player counts are looking good for a small indie game and there are always dozens of lobbies to choose from.
Now it looks like Brimstone are ready to ramp things up with new weapons, new courses, and new features. The Whacky Golf Game has already provided millions of hours of entertainment for players, as they battle it out to be the first to put their ball in the fewest amount of shots possible, while dodging rockets and drive by golf carts driven by other players as they strive to achieve the same.
What’s New In The Super Battle Golf Update?
The latest update will introduce 2 new weapons, including an Ice Cannon – which will freeze your opponents current momentum, causing them to casually slide off a cliff and be sent back to spawn, or a new movement item – no idea what this one is, but it looks like a rocket powered club of some kind that can yeet even yourself across long distances.

Then we have 18 new holes being added, 9 holes for the coastal biome, and 9 holes for a brand new ice themed biome, and this will introduce new mechanics to contend with, such as frozen lakes, making movement harder to start, and stop.
New features also include Wind, which means all those possible hole-in-ones might not be as possible anymore, and the ability to initiate a vote to kick someone from the match.
This latest Super Battle Golf Update goes live on 9th April, so I’ll see you on the course. Check out the trailer below to see for yourself.
